Every change and fix in Hamdam 1.0

Hamdam 1.0 was the first release, so nothing changed: this is what Hamdam arrived with, area by area.

Today

A greeting that fits the hour: a morning that opens gently, an afternoon that steadies, an evening that settles.
Tell Hamdam how your heart feels on a simple slider, and it offers a verse and a reflection chosen for that feeling.
Verses from five poets, Hafez, Rumi, Saadi, Khayyam and Parvin Etesami, each in the original Persian beside an English translation.
With your permission, the scene behind your words follows the weather outside your window.
A daily streak that forgives a missed day.
Optional companions for your mind and your movement, off until you turn them on.

A private journal of every reflection, with search and your favourite verses at hand.
Your Journey, a chart of how your heart has moved over time.
Share a reflection, or save it to Apple Journal.

The Iranian calendar beside the Gregorian one.
Yalda, Norooz, Chaharshanbe Suri, Mehregan and Sizdah Bedar, each arriving with poetry that belongs to it.
Ask the Faal of Hafez a question the way generations have, and receive a verse in answer.

Ask Siri to start a reflection, hear the verse of the day, or check your streak.
Widgets for your Home Screen.
Live Activities for Yalda and Norooz.
Your reflections, searchable from your Home Screen.
If you choose, each reflection is saved to Apple Health as a State of Mind entry.
Calm music alongside your reflection, through Apple Music.
A Hamdam calendar of its own for reflection times and cultural moments, kept apart from your other calendars.
Morning, afternoon and evening notifications, each one yours to turn on or off.

Your verse and your streak on your wrist, with complications for your streak, the verse and the calendar.

English and Farsi throughout, with the whole app laid out right to left in Farsi.
No account, no email, no ads and no tracking. Your reflections stay on your device, and in your own iCloud if you turn syncing on.
Hamdam Plus, monthly or yearly with a seven day free trial, or a single Founding Companion purchase you can share with your family.
