Every change and fix in Hamdam 1.3.2
Hamdam 1.3.2 is about the verse reaching you each day, on your Home Screen and in your notifications. Here is everything that changed, area by area.
Widgets
- The verse widget turns to a new verse every morning on its own, even on a phone where Hamdam has not been opened.
- The sky behind the widget's verse moves with the hour.
- Persian on the widget is set in nasta'liq, the same hand the app uses inside.
- The widget gallery shows the same verse the widget will show once you add it.
- Tap a verse on your Home Screen and Today opens on that verse rather than another one.
Notifications
- The daily notification leads with the poet now, which gives the verse itself more room.
- Daily verse notifications are topped up in the background, so they are less likely to run out when you have not opened Hamdam for a while.
Today
- The line beneath the verse on Today can be read against any sky.
