Apple Music

Hamdam Plus, and it needs your own Apple Music subscription as well.

With Hamdam Plus and an Apple Music subscription, a small player appears on Today holding a curated calm playlist, one for English and one for Farsi. Nothing plays until you start it.

While it plays, Today picks up a soft colour wash drawn from the current track's artwork. Apple computes that colour; Hamdam does not listen to the audio.

Step by step

  1. Open Your Hamdam.

  2. Tap Content.

  3. Apple Music integration is on unless you have turned it off. It is greyed out when you have neither Hamdam Plus nor Apple Music.

The Apple Music integration switch on the Content screen, on.
  4. Return to Today and start the playlist from the player, allowing Apple Music access when iOS asks.

Worth knowing

  • This needs your own Apple Music subscription. Hamdam does not provide one.
  • Changing the app's language stops the playlist that is playing. Nothing starts again until you start the new language's playlist yourself.
  • Music access belongs to the device. After a reinstall iOS asks for it again.

Checked against Hamdam 2.1, 3 October 2026.
