The games and the daily riddle
Every game is open on every plan. A free reader has three plays a day, shared across Mosha'ereh, Takhte Nard and Hokm; Hamdam Plus has no counter. Today's riddle is free and uncounted, and past riddles are Hamdam Plus.
The Garden's Play band opens the games hub: four games where Hamdam speaks to you through Persian poetry, and three otherwise.
No tile is ever locked, greyed or hidden because of your plan. What a free plan counts is how many matches you start in a day.
Step by step

Riddle is the daily riddle game. Ask for a hint when you want one; none is given unasked. After a solve, if you are signed in to Game Center, you can challenge a friend to beat your time.
Takhte Nard, called Backgammon where Hamdam is not speaking to you through Persian poetry, is the old board and the old dice, against the app at three levels of difficulty.
Hokm seats four in two teams: you and three seats played by the app, or four people on the same device.
Mosha'ereh answers a verse with a verse. It is offered where Hamdam is speaking to you through Persian poetry, because the game cannot exist without it.
Play alone, pass one device around a table, or play online through Game Center, which also keeps the leaderboards and achievements.
Worth knowing
- The hub shows how many plays you have left today, and so does Membership in Your Hamdam. The count starts again at midnight where you are.
- A match already under way is never interrupted by the count. It is checked only when you start one.
- The seven day Hamdam Plus trial counts as Plus here.
- Past riddles are recorded for everyone, so the day you subscribe your whole archive is already there.
- Hamdam runs no game server of its own. Online matches, leaderboards and achievements are Apple's Game Center, and what it keeps is between you and Apple. The day's play count is kept in your own iCloud, so reinstalling does not reset it.
