The book, the podcast and the screen pick change once a day, so seeing the same one all day is expected rather than broken. The meal follows the clock instead.
Worth knowing
- If you told the food questions that you cook for children, a second meal card appears beside the first, for them.
- The book and the podcast come from Apple's public catalogue, requested by your device directly from Apple. The request is always one of Hamdam's own search terms and never carries your words, your mood or an identifier. Your recent mood, worked out on your device, only helps choose which term to send. There is no Hamdam server in between.
- Hamdam remembers which picks it has already shown you, so they do not come round again soon.
- The screen picks are chosen by hand from a list Hamdam carries, each one checked to open the right title.
- If a request fails, Hamdam keeps showing the last good pick rather than showing you an error.
