Finding a reflection from system search
Hamdam can put your reflections into your device's own search, so swiping down on the Home Screen and typing a word finds what you wrote.
Some people want that and some very much do not, so it is a switch, and in 2.1 your reflections stay out of search until you say yes. Hamdam asks once in Reflections, and the switch in Settings turns it on or off. Spotlight and Siri see a mood, a date and the first 60 characters of a line, never the whole reflection.

Tapping a result opens it in Hamdam.
Worth knowing
- The index is built on each device from the reflections on that device. With iCloud sync on, that includes reflections written elsewhere, so turn the switch off on each device where you do not want them in search.
- Turning the switch off clears your reflections from search. Deleting a reflection in Hamdam always takes it out as well.
- The switch comes back with your other settings after a reinstall, and Hamdam rebuilds the index from the reflections on the device the next time it opens.
- The Seven hundred verses are indexed separately, so searching for a line of poetry finds it whether or not you have written about it.
